04 Local compliance & market access
| Topic | Summary |
|---|---|
| Regulator | ICASA (Independent Communications Authority of South Africa) |
| Type approval | Radio equipment normally needs type approval before import or local sale; the application is usually filed by the local importer or an authorised agent, and approved models are listed on the regulator's website. |
| Bands & power | Bands and transmit power must follow the local frequency plan and limits; the regulator's latest published documents govern, and we configure shipments for the target market. |
| Customs & documents | Customs clearance is handled by the buyer or its local importer; we provide the commercial invoice, packing list and certification copies per contract — final terms follow the quotation and contract. |
Always check the latest requirements on the regulator's website.
Questions
Q1 Do you hold stock in South Africa?
No. We ship from the factory side by consolidated container; local warehousing can be arranged with a local distribution partner.
Q2 Can you send a South Africa price list?
We do not publish fixed price lists. Send a model list or a scenario (rooms, points) and we quote by volume and market, with the validity window stated.
Send point counts or room numbers and we will return a configuration and quote.
