Silkscreen, packaging and firmware defaults are customisable; untouched RF keeps existing certifications
Production starts only after sample approval
You must authorise any third-party brand
01 What can be customised
| Item | Description | Effect on MOQ |
|---|---|---|
| Silkscreen and labels | Unit logo, nameplate, serial number rules | Low — existing tooling |
| Packaging and accessories | Box, manual, languages, patch leads and mounts | Medium |
| Firmware defaults | Default SSID, management address, setup wizard, portal | Medium — firmware dependent |
| Hardware configuration | Antenna, ports and enclosure colour within existing designs | High |
Changes affecting radio certification require retesting; timeline and cost are quoted separately and stated in writing.
02 Process
① Requirement definition
Agree the model baseline, customisation items and destination regulations.
② Samples

③ Pilot run and validation
Small pilot batch with functional and cosmetic checks.
④ Mass production
Delivered in contracted batches with test records and packing lists.
03 Compliance notes
- You must provide authorisation for any third-party brand; we do not do unauthorised badge engineering.
- Market access approvals are scoped between us during sampling.
- Firmware customisation keeps radio parameters unchanged to avoid re-certification.
Questions
Q1 Can existing certifications still be used?
Customisation that leaves RF and antenna paths untouched (silkscreen, packaging, UI) usually carries over; RF changes need retesting.
Q2 Can I see samples first?
Yes — we send current-model samples first, then produce customised samples once you approve.
