Best Outdoor Access Points — Compared by Spec

Outdoor sites come down to three things: ingress rating, antenna type and power method. Here is every outdoor AP we supply, side by side.

How we sort

Sorted by throughput. The "To confirm" column flags models without a published IP rating or power method — for outdoor sites both must be confirmed in writing.

Spec comparison table

10 models in stock

The table draws on the same data as our product pages and stays in step with them. Prices move with volume and FX — quoted on request.

Choosing by scenario

Parks, factories, wide areas

Check antenna gain and IP rating (IP66 or better) plus PoE reach.

Remote sites, farms, point-to-point

These usually call for a 5.8GHz directional bridge rather than an omni outdoor AP.

Pole or lamp-post mounting

Check the supplied pole-mount bracket and unit size; pole diameter and weight drive the labour.

Can these ship together

Outdoor APs can share a container with bridges and PoE switches to avoid a second shipment.

Questions

Q1What is the difference between IP65 and IP66?

IP65 resists water jets, IP66 resists powerful jets. For permanent outdoor exposure in rainy regions, start at IP66.

Q2Can I use a model with no published rating?

It means the datasheet does not disclose it. For outdoor use, choose IP65 or above, or ask us to confirm with the factory before quoting.
